Gold Plating Now Available in the Shop
We’re excited to share that 14k and 18k gold plating is now officially available in the studio and online shop.
If you’ve ever loved one of our sterling silver pieces but wished it had been in gold, this new offering is for you. Gold plating allows you to transform your favorite silver jewelry into a beautiful gold-finished piece.
What is Gold Plating?
Gold plating is a process where a thin layer of real gold is applied to sterling silver through an electroplating process. The result is a radiant gold finish that gives your jewelry the look and warmth of solid gold.
In the studio, the transformation happens right before your eyes. Within just a few minutes, silver can be turned into a 14k or 18k gold finish.
Upgrade Your Jewelry
Gold plating can now be added to many pieces available in the shop. It’s a simple upgrade that allows you to customize your jewelry and make it uniquely yours.
Whether you prefer the cool tone of silver or the warmth of gold, you now have the option to choose the finish that best fits you.
Available in Silversmith Classes
For those joining one of our silversmith classes, you can also choose to upgrade your handmade piece with gold plating at the end of class or add on when you register for a class here. After creating your jewelry in sterling silver, you’ll have the option to give it a beautiful gold finish before taking it home. It’s quickly become one of our favorite parts of the process — watching a piece transform in just minutes.
