Create your own handcrafted coffin gemstone ring or pendant from start to finish in this immersive silversmith workshop.

In this special gemstone-setting session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of silversmithing while transforming a faceted coffin-shaped gemstone into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Choose whether you’d like to create a ring or pendant, then build your piece completely from scratch.

No previous silversmithing experience is necessary.

Choose Your Coffin Gemstone

Select your favorite coffin-shaped faceted gemstone:

• Black Spinel
• Labradorite
• Moonstone

Each stone is unique, so your finished piece will be completely one of a kind.

In This Class You’ll Learn:

• Selecting and sizing a bezel for your gemstone
• Creating your bezel setting from scratch
• Soldering sterling silver
• Using a jeweler’s saw to cut out your shape
• Creating your ring band or pendant
• Filing, sanding, and polishing
• Setting your gemstone by hand

Please note: A chain is not included when creating a pendant, but chains will be available to purchase after class.
