LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE — GEMSTONE RING OR PENDANT FROM SCRATCH

Take your silversmithing skills further and create a handcrafted gemstone ring or pendant using traditional techniques.

(Level 1 recommended but not required.)

You’ll learn:

• How to work with cabochons / sourcing gemstones
• Create a custom bezel setting from scratch
• Size and shape bezel around your stone
• Solder bezel to backing plate
• Use a jeweler’s saw to cut metal
• Stamp & texture your ring band
• Filing, polishing & professional finishing
• How to set your turquoise stone
